All In All Azhagu Raja Review
All in All Azhagu Raja is pitched against a biggie like Ajith Kumar's Arrambam and Vishal Krishna's Pandiya Nadu this Diwali.
So, getting positive reviews is a must for the Karthi's flick. Has the movie lived up to audience? Will the movie survive in the tough battled Diwali race? Will Karthi be able to return to his form after flops like Saguni and Alex Pandian?
Azhagu Raja (Karthi), the only son of Prabhu and Saranya Ponvannan, owns an unpopular cable channel named AAA. There are only two employees, one being Raja and other Kalyanam (Santhanam) in the TV channel. No matter what they do, neither TRPs nor revenues were improving. The hero, accidentally, comes across Devi Priya (Kajal Aggarwal).
All in All Azhaguraja is the 4th comedy entertainer from director Rajesh and this time it is Karthi teaming up with the 'Comedy Superstar' Santhanam. The movie is expected to continue the director's enviable run so far.
The movie follows the regular Rajesh 'family entertainer' template and it tries to offer maximum laughs to the audience for the price of their ticket money. Can Santhanam manage to lift the fortunes of yet another Rajesh movie?
As in all other Rajesh's movies, where the plot is wafer thin, screenplay riding high on one liners and situation comedy, this time Rajesh tried to weave out various subplots. Karthi is Raja the local TV channel owner, his suave and carefree attitude is intact as he seem to adore and portray in AAA as well.
And predictably Santhanam is his assistant Kalyanam and the usual witty and idiosyncratic lad. The two seem to have a special bond from the days of Siruthai and even though the chemistry is recursive, parts of it would find a special place.
