At a time when actors' prefer mass subjects, this young lad opted for strong subjects than regular masala flicks. It helped him to struck gold thrice. Now, Vijay Sethupathi is back with the latest movie Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.
Verdict: Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara is an one time watchable movie.
Vijay Sethupathy's Gokul directed Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (IAB) is a good fun ride. It is a comedy film laced with black humour and works due to its smart writing.
IAB is rooted in the real and the contemporary, with a clever new approach and stylish telling. And with some sharp performances by a strange cocktail of characters and a tight script, it is a jolly good entertainer with a subtle message. Like Sumaar Moonchi Kumar says repeatedly "Kumuda is happy", we are also HAPPY!
Idharkuthane Aasapattai Balakumara (IAB) portrays the love stories of two attention-grabbing characters, whose individualities and backgrounds are at two extremes, but ultimately get to meet each other due to a few mistakes that come out as a cool message to the audience.
Verdict: Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara will make you leave the theatre happy !
