Jawan is a 2023 Bollywood action thriller film written and directed by Tamil director Atlee Kumar . Shah Rukh Khan , Vijay Sethupathi , and Nayanthara starred in the lead roles, along with Yogi Babu , Sanya Malhotra , Priyamani , and many others in supporting roles. G. K. Vishnu handled the cinematography, while Ruben serving as the film's editor. Anirudh Ravichander composed the movie's soundtrack and background tracks . In light of this film, Anirudh is going to be the most wanted music director in Bollywood. Anirudh also performed a song with Jonita Gandhi , Kaala Bhairava , and Abhishek Nailwal in this film. Plot Jawan shares the story of an Indian individual who endured the harshest torture at the hands of a gang that brutally tormented many pitiful regular people while unable to understand the difference between even a little child. He made the decision not to leave anyone to cause harm to society after escaping from the gang. The remaining plot of this movie concerns how he locates the major antagonist and how he aims to take him out. Intresting Facts about Film 1. According to reports, Nayanthara will play an investigative officer, and SRK will play two roles in Atlee's Jawan. 2. In this movie, Deepika Padukone, Atlee Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt make brief cameo appearances. 3. In India, shooting has already started in a number of locations, including Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, and Rajasthan. 4. Director Atlee reportedly approached composer A. R. Rahman about composing the music for the movie, but Rahman refused for a reason that is still unknown. Development of Jawan There were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee would collaborate on a film in late 2019. The project was confirmed in 2020, and filming was slated to begin soon, in May 2021. The film's title, Jawan," along with a video, was released on June 3, 2022. Later, the film got postponed, and a new release date was announced through a motion poster released on May 6, 2023. Jawan Casting Nayanthara was cast as the female lead with Shah Rukh Khan, marking her debut in Hindi cinema. Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra joined the cast. Rana Daggubati was offered the role of the antagonist, but he declined due to health issues. Vijay Sethupathi was then cast in the role. Deepika Padukone joined the cast in August 2022 in Chennai to shoot her cameo. In September 2022, Thalapathy Vijay was confirmed to make a cameo in the film. Making of Jawan The principal photography for the film Jawan began in September 2021 in Pune, with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara joining the shoot for 10 days. Khan resumed filming in June 2022 in Hyderabad, and Nayanthara joined the Mumbai schedule on June 26, 2022, after her marriage. The next schedule took place in August in Chennai, where Deepika Padukone shot her cameo. Vijay Sethupathi also joined the shoot, and action sequences between Khan and Sethupathi were filmed. A song featuring Priyamani and Khan was also shot in jail. The Chennai schedule wrapped on October 7 after a month of filming. The next schedule was held in Rajasthan in October, with Khan and Nayanthara joining for a 20-day shoot. The next schedule took place in February 2023, when Khan shot some chase scenes. Sanjay Dutt joined the shoot on March 20, 2023, to shoot an action-packed cameo. Filming wrapped in April 2023, with two songs featuring Khan and Nayanthara and one featuring Deepika Padukone for her cameo appearance. Jawan prevue An official preview was released on July 10 , 2023, and attracted a wide audience, which attracted huge attention for the film's premiere. The prevue begins with the inimitable voiceover of King Khan, building up excitement for what awaits. Jawan's Marketing: As per Jawan's marketing, its Trailer has been launched on the 31st of August, 2023. Where Shahrukh has sketched himself in the most badass look whereas on the other side, Shahrukh also portrays his charms in romantic scenes. Apart from that Nayanthara is in the character of a police officer and Vijay Sethupati as a weapon smuggler.  The trailer had resulted an impact on its audience and it can be clearly stated that Jawan is going to receive a great advantage through its marketing strategy. Budget: Bollywood Badhashah's Jawan is the most expensive movie after Pathaan and Ra.One. Jawan's budget is approximately 300 crore which is more than his previous blockbuster Pathaan with 250 crore. It includes approximately 50 crores in theatrical rights, 115 crores in streaming rights, 90 crores in satellite rights, and 36 crores in music rights. Box Office Collection: Jawan directed by Atlee Kumar made the highest earning record film in India after releasing on its first day which was  75 crores, on the second day it was 53.23 crores, and on the third day, it was 77.83. Jawan's pre-released business is highest as its 5,31,200 tickets have been sold before its release date. Its total collection in India is 580.09 crores and 1093.31 crores worldwide till now.
