Kaithi Story

Kaithi is a Tamil action thriller movie written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame. The movie stars Karthi, Narain, and George Maryan. The movie soundtrack was composed by Sam C. S.; Philomin Raj handled the editing, while Sathyan Sooryan was the cinematographer. The movie Kaithi is produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Vivekananda Pictures. Story Dilli (Karthi) is a culprit who is serving life imprisonment for the past 10 years. He escapes jail in a bid to see his only daughter, whom he has never met. On his way, he meets an injured cop named Bejoy (Narain), and decides to help him. How Dilli finally meets his daughter after fighting all the odds forms the crux of the story. The movie was shot around Chennai and in Tirunelveli. The first look poster of the movie was unveiled on 6 March 2019 and the movie released on October 25 2019 on the eve of Diwali. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Khaidi and released on the same day.
