Maan Karate Review

Maan Karate is considered as an important movie for both Sivakarthikeyan and Hansika Motwani as it is coming at an important phase of their careers.

Peter (Sivakarthikeyan) is a jobless man and he falls in love with Yazhini (Hansika Motwani). On the other end, his bunch of friends meet a Sadhu in a forest.

Verdict Maan Karate is for Sivakarthikeyan and Hansika Motwani's fans.

Sivakarthikeyan has gone on to become one of the most bankable actors in Tamil industry. This has given wannabe writers and directors to feature him in aimlessly written stories usually targeted at pleasing the masses.

Verdict: Maan Karate Review - A lazy commercial entertainer

Siva plays Peter, a playful chap with very little worldly exposure and with nothing on his mind except his girlfriend Yazhini. He poses as a boxer to woo her, as she is an ardent fan of sports.

On the whole, the movie is definitely watchable, with some amount of suspension of disbelief, for the many segments of entertainment that it offers.

Verdict: Siva Karthikeyan's entertainer to beat the summer heat

It is difficult not to wonder what the heck the writing team must be smoking when they came up with this story? Even if you convince yourself to overlook the basic premise, the subsequent situations are implausible and forcibly stitched.

A number of scenes and situations are heavily contrived and childish. Despite many of the scenes being out-of-place, the comedy quotient may entertain you in some places.
