Shirish plays a journalist and his younger brother, played by Sathya, is a college student. Sathya's desire to get his hands on a high-end bike, which his father and brother cannot afford, tempts him to opt for a path, frequently taken by greedy youngsters.
Newcomer Sathya gets the maximum screen space and the actor has used his opportunity in a convincing manner. However, his act in some of the scenes might make you wonder if the director has entrusted him with a role, which is a tad too meaty for his skills.
Overall View: Metro is an honest attempt by Ananda Krishnan which aims to educate its audiences about the brutality involved in greed and chain snatching. It also succeeds in instilling fear, which might make us more cautious, the next time we step out, which is the film's main objective.
