Most of the horror films made in India, or Tamil specifically, revolve around a building, which is possessed by a spirit, for which there always lies a reason.
The film is intriguing until this point, but turns into a mess with confusing sequences and a tiring flashback. The scenes where the characters who appear in Aari’s dreams end up getting killed for real evinces curiosity, but aren’t executed effectively to keep the audience engaged.
Aari as usual is natural in his performance and delivers his best. Ashna is the routine heroine who adds to the glam quotient. Athulya Ravi is just about adequate despite given a meaty role.
It can be enjoyed only in parts!
