    • Pidichirukku is a simple, realistic and eventful love story executed well by the debutant Kanagu, a former assistant of Director Lingusamy.

Vel (Ashok) is a Hindu young boy, who runs a small Lorry booking office in Tuticorin town. Manju is a Roman Catholic girl studying in a local college. The first meeting of both Vel and Manju is an accident caused due to Manju's negligence. When she is sitting in her father's (Sampath Raj) scooter as a pillion rider, her assignment papers and duppatta flies off and lands on the face of Vel.
