Ponn Ondru Kandein

Ponn Ondru Kandein ( Pon Ondru Kanden ) is an Tamil romantic comedy movie directed by Senthil Veerasamy. The movie has Tamannaah and Vishnu Vishal in lead roles. The film is produced by Gautham Menon and the first-look poster was released on 29 March 2017 which revealed that Darbuka Siva composing the music with lyrics by Thamarai. Ponn Ondru Kandein is a remake of the Telugu film, Pelli Choopulu by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam. Actress Tamannaah was signed reprise the role of Ritu Varma in this movie. Earlier it was reported that the ‘Premam’ actor Nivin Pauly was in talks to play the lead role in the Tamil version, though the actor turned down the offer.  And later, they were in talks with Udhayanidhi Stalin however, he too turned down the offer. After a few discussions actor Vishnu Vishal was signed to play the lead lole and the film is titled as Ponn Ondru Kandein.
