Thaanaa Serndha Koottam Story

Thaanaa Serndha Koottam (aka) Thaana Serndha Koottam is a Tamil heist movie, directed by Vignesh Shivan. Studio Green and 2D Entertainment will be jointly producing this movie. The music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The lyrics for songs have been written by Vignesh Shivan and Mani Amudhan. A dubbed Telugu version will simultaneously release under the title Gang.

The movie has Suriya, Keerthi Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Nandha and Kalaiyarasan in the leading roles.

Story In Detail

The story of Thaana Serndha Koottam is set in the 1980s and is loosely based on the Hindi movie Special 26. The film takes us through the life of a youngster whose big dream is to become a CBI officer. But, fate goes against him and he with some of his friends, form a gang that does fake raid.

The first look and second look posters were revealed on 23 July 2017 on the occasion of Suriya's birthday. Thaana Serndha Kootam is scheduled to be release on January 2018, on the eve of Pongal.
