Theeran Athigaram Ondru aka Dheeran Athigaram Ondru is an Tamil action, thriller movie directed by Vinoth of 'Sathuranga Vettai' fame. The movie has Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.

Story

The story of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru is based on some true events that occurred in the 1990s and it is set in a time span of 10 years. It revolves around an honest cop named Theeran, who has been assigned with a case of a series of murders. The film takes you through his mission.

Production

Karthi plays an investigative cop in the movie and his character name is Dheeran also the title suggests and the team is also planning to have sequels in the future.

Cinematographer of this movie is Sathyan Sooriyan, stunts by Dhilip Subbarayan, art department is handled by Kathir, music is scored by Ghibran and editing is by Shivanandeeswaran.

The film has been produced by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu under their own banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Release

First leg of the filming commenced in Jan 2017 at Chennai. The movie teaser has been scheduled to release on 27th, Sep and trailer on 17th, Oct 2017.

The movie will have theatrical release on Nov 17, 2017.
