Adithya Varma aka Varma is a Tamil drama movie, directed by debut director Gireesaaya and produced by Mukesh Mehta under E4 Entertainment. The cast of Varmaa includes Dhruv Vikram and Banita Sandhu in the lead roles. Adithya Varma is a remake of blockbuster Telugu movie Vijay Deverakonda's ' Arjun Reddy ' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Varmaa Cast & Crew The Tamil remake of the Telugu movie 'Arjun Reddy' was originally directed by Bala under the title Varmaa and the dialogues were written by Raju Murugan. Actor Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram debuted with this movie. Kolkata-based model Megha, was chosen to play the female lead. Akash Premkumar was chosen to play the lead Dhruv's best friend Ashok. Other roles were given to Easwari Rao, Raiza Wilson and Sandra Amy. Sukumar was selected to handle the cinematography. Sathish Suriya of Naachiyaar fame was chosen as the film editor. The movie shot between March and September 2018; however, in February 2019, the production house 'E4 Entertainment' announced that the movie would be completely re-shot with a new cast and crew while retaining Dhruv. Adithya Varma Story The film follows the life of a young doctor named Adithya Varma, who apart from having anger-management issues has had an unforgettable break-up with a girl named Meera. The first look poster of the movie was released on the same day. Gireesaaya eariler assisted with Arjun Reddy writer-director Sandeep Vanga. Shakthi Film Factory acquired the film's distribution rights for Tamil Nadu.
