Yatchan Review

Arya is a treat to watch as he comes up with one of his best performances till date. While Swati Reddy is brilliant in each and every scene, Deepa Sannidhi looks just a tad artificial. Kreshna's performance looks decent but is not refined.

Yatchan is technically strong. Be it the cinematography by Om Prakash, who has used apt colors to suit the mood, or Yuvan Shankar Raja with his terrific background score, almost everyone in the technical department have shone throughout.

Overall View: Overall, Yatchan manages to entertain in parts but the film's mediocre screenplay comes across as a disappointment.

Vishnuvardhan is one director who constantly tries to bring the best out of Arya, from a ruggedly handsome mobster in Arinthum Ariyamalum to a stylish looking hacker in Aarambam, not to forget his fat cameo avatar too in the same film. Even in Yatchan it is good to see that Arya and Vishnu share a very good chemistry.

Yatchan is not a film that might put a smile on your face when you leave the cinema hall but at the same time it is not a film that would make you regret either.

Verdict: Watchable with its share of suspense and laughter.
