Arya, Bharath, Simbu, Srikanth, Vishal, Jeeva, Arun Kumar, Vikranth, Ramesh, Ramana, Abbas, Pooja, Madhumita, Padmapriya, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Pa Vijay were among the crowd at making it look like a little Kodambakkam.

A bouquet of flowers from Punnagaipoo Geetha for everyone kicked off the event. One has to just replay what Pa Vijay said at the function about the actors and actresses in the film -. He compared Arya and Bharath to two Arabian stallions and Pooja and Padmapriya to two dolphins. Pa Vijay praised Yuvan Shankar Raja describing him as 'Yuvan irukka bhayam yen'. He is the composer of the film's music. Yuvan gave all the songs to Pa Vijay.

In a rare gesture, all the 6 songs in 'Pattiyal' were released by one actor and accepted by the other. The felicitations were rather literary and like music to the ears. Director Charan described producer Geetha as, "a producer who should be seen among the many who do not deserve to be seen".

In her vote of thanks, Geetha thanked the long list of distributors.
