Dhanush starrer Pudhupettai is going steady in its box-office collections. Rajinikanth, who came from Spain after the shooting of Sivaji, saw this movie. He was really impressed with Dhanush's acting and appreciated his maturity in acting.

Meanwhile, sources say the next venture for Dhanush will be a remake of the blockbuster Kannada movie Jogi. Kuthu fame Ramya is pairing with him.
