In cine field. Vijay's mother Shobana sang the song "Kodampakkam area...." in the film Sivakaasi for which Vijay and Nayantara danced. Now T.Rajendar along with Suchitra and Mahathi is singing a song for the film Valavaan which is performed by Simbu, Nayantara and Reema Sen. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The lyrics of the song starts as "Ammadi... aadhadi...unnai ennaku thariyadi...".
