It is a common belief that outsiders cherish our treasures more than we ourselves do. Similarly, our Tamil actresses have more respect in Tollywood than in Kollywood. For the last year, Trisha and Sneha have been nominated for best actress award by the Andhra government.

Trisha gets award as Best Leading Actress for Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantaana and Sneha gets Special Jury Award for her role in Radha Gopalam.' Bhanupriya gets Best Supporting Actress for Chatrapathi. SPB is Best Male Playback Singer.

Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantaana directed by Prabhu Deva has been nominated as Best Home Viewing Feature Film.

The award function will be held shortly in Hyderabad. The Andhra CM, Governor, and important film personalities and politicians will participate in the function.
