Uyir is a different movie which gives a solution for all the actress' suicides which have been hounding the Tamil cine industry. Srikant plays the lead role. Samvrutha is pairing with Srikant.

To commit suicide for the sake of love is foolishness. Life is more important than the love. If life ends love will also perish. This is the central core of this movie. This movie is directed by Sami. R.Balaji is producing this movie under the banner Sri Balaji Cine Creations. Music is composed by Joshua Sridhar.
