'Don't interfere in to my private life' - Ajith

Ultimate Star Ajith has met the press yesterday evening at the Green Park. He looked very casual and his appearance was also very impressive. There was an unusual underplay in his tone when he replied the questions to the media people. Here is the Excerpt of his one hour long press meet:

Tell us some thing about you forthcoming film Billa-2007…
First of all, it is not my film. I'm just trying my best in the role done by our own superstar Rajini sir, who is still rocking in Billa. Many have written that Billa-2007 is the remake of Shahrukh's Don. No, it is absolutely wrong. We are remaking on our superstar Rajini sir's Billa only.

strong>Did you meet Rajini before the launch of the project?
Of course, Rajini sir is the inspiration to me to take the film for remake. When I thought of remaking an old commercial classic, I immediately got Billa to my mind. Then I rushed to superstar's house and seeking his approval to remake. When he heard about my selection (Billa) for remake, suddenly he shook my hands and pat on my back with his hearty wishes to go ahead with the project. I must be always great full to his gesture.

After the launch of the movie, we would like to consult with Rajini sir in every stage of this film. In fact, we didn't include any scene in Billa without Rajini's approval!

Recently, he had watched the trailer of the film and encouraged the entire team with his warm wishes. I hope this remake will become a true honour of our superstar.

Are you trying to become a superstar by remaking his movies and enacting his role?
Never, there is only one superstar in the industry and it is our own Rajini sir. I think there is nothing wrong in selecting his movies for remake. Rajini and Kamal are the role models for the present generation. Nobody can act without the impact of both these legends.

What about your enmity with Vijay?
I never told that there is an enmity between me and Vijay. In fact, we were acting as co stars in a film. After that I couldn't feel convenient to act with any heroes. That is the only reason for my selection of movies as solo hero. There is a competition between us, but it is purely on professional, nothing else!

It seems that there is a considerable change in your approach and way of delivering replies to the media…
It is all because of my age. Now, I thought that I'm matured enough. I'm now at the age of 37. If you meet me after some years, may be my approach will be more matured than now.

Akbar, a film produced by Ayngaran International and directed by Raju Sundaram.

What is the release date of Billa?
December 14th, as per the advice of superstar Rajini sir!

Do you have any idea of racing in future?
No such ideas. Nowadays, I'm just watching that sports in Television. That's all!

Why are you avoiding special interviews for channels or magazines?
Nothing special. Besides being an actor, I'm a private person in most of the time. I would like to enjoy my privacy. I am ready to discuss my films in public, but not my personal life!
