Revathy to direct Amitabh Bachchan

Revathy Varma, a renowned journalist and the maker of the Tamil film June R, will direct a movie starring Amitabh Bachchan in a new Hindi film. The lady director said that she would announce the title of the film and its cast and crew next month in Mumbai.

"This will be an offbeat film and superstar Amitabh took no time accepting the movie after hearing its one-liner storyline. The plot is very simple but powerful. Being an Indian, how can we pay our respect to the nation is the one line story of the film. Amitabhji will appear as a doctor who brings awareness to the youth about our nation and its pride. For me, money is not the motive. In Tamil, I have done the film June R. Though it was not a commercial hit, I never gave up my hopes in giving out clean movies," said Revathy.

Revathy Varma is known Journalist cum story writer and many of her stories have been published in magazines like Women's Era. Now, she is entering Bollywood, and that too with Amitabh Bachchan.
