Rehman rules the charts

Composer of international fame AR Rehman is ruling the Tamil charts again after a couple of 2 months. After Sivaji, his second Tamil album Azhagiya Tamil Magan has became a hit with Vijay fans lapping it up. Of all the Diwali releases, only Rehman's has done well and are placed in the top. The top five Tamil albums of the first week of pre Diwali are:

1. Azhagiya Tamil Magan - Music Director: A.R. Rahman. All the songs in the Album are hummable and particularly 'Vadipatti Thavile…' is the big hit of the album.

2. Vel- Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. 'Alamarathu Vizhuthu…' is the pick of the Yuvan Shankar Raja's latest album. But other songs in the album are not much impressed the audience.

3. Katrathu Tamil - Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The mesmerizing voice of Maestro Illayaraaja is melts every music lover's heart in the song 'Paravaye enna…' in Katrathu Tamil. Some of the fans even visit theaters to just watch and hear the song.

4. Bheema - Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. The song 'Muthal Mazhai...' is the best number in Bheema.

5. Pollathavan - Music Director: G.V. Prakash. It is the remix of yesteryear super hit song 'Engayum Eppothum' makes the album to enter in to the top five.
