Directors Ameer and Bala are known for their bosom friendship right from their school days like veteran Bharathiraja and maestro Ilayaraja. These friends from Madurai started their film career simultaneously and they worked together in films like Sethu and Nandha.

However, they parted ways following differences in opinion and went their own ways. Bala proved his directorial capabilities without Ameer in Pithamagan and Ameer proved himself as a worthy associate of Bala through the films Mounam Pesiyathey, Raam and Paruthi Veeran.

Now, these incredible directors have together again after burying their egos. Ameer met Bala recently and revived their good old friendship. The good news is that the directors have decided to launch a new entity to produce more Tamil films. They want to give chances to talented new directors under their joint ventures. They will also direct films under this new banner.

This re-union is indeed a good news for Tamil cinema!
