It
is
very
rare
to
find
a
Tamil
actress
in
Kollywood
doing
a
bold
role
as
they
are
generally
shy
to
expose
their
bodies
to
the
Tamil
cinema
viewers.
But
Bharathi,
a
girl
from
Coimbatore,
is
an
exceptional
case
in
the
industry.
She
is
acting
in
a
prostitute's
role
in
the
film
Ammuvagiya
Naan.Parthiban
is
playing
the
lead
role
after
his
debacle
of
Pacha
Kudire
in
the
beginning
of
2006.
He
plays
the
role
of
a
writer
in
this
film
and
was
impressed
a
lot
with
the
script
of
the
director
Padma
Magan.
The
film
is
being
produced
by
Rupas
Parker.
Both
the
director
and
the
producer
have
already
joined
for
a
film
titled
Pallavan.
Initially,
the
director
told
the
story
to
many
leading
actresses.
They
too
were
impressed
with
the
story,
but
refused
to
act
in
the
role
due
to
an
image
crisis.
Then
Padma
Magan
flew
to
Mumbai
and
tried
his
level
best
to
convince
some
of
the
Bollywood
actresses.
When
all
turned
their
back
on
the
project,
a
local
girl
with
stunning
looks
came
forward
to
do
the
role
of
a
sex
worker.
That
girl
is
none
other
than
Bharathi.
She
is
very
much
excited
about
her
new
project,
and
the
experience
of
working
with
an
actor
of
Parthiban's
range.
'I
have
strong
reasons
to
feel
that
the
movie
would
bring
me
lots
of
fame.
Realism
is
the
key
word
in
my
character
with
a
focus
on
the
dialect.
I
have
vibed
well
with
Parthiban,
whose
support
has
helped
me
in
understanding
my
character.
I
am
keenly
awaiting
the
release
of
my
new
film.'
Bharathi
said.
'Generally
in
most
of
the
Tamil
films,
love
begins
with
the
meeting
of
the
eyes,
then
travels
to
the
hearts
and
slowly
slips
in
to
lust.
But
in
'Ammu...'
love
begins
with
lust;
and
thereafter
slowly
slips
in
to
the
hearts.
Bharathi
has
done
the
role
superbly,
and
mere
words
cannot
describe
the
qualities
of
the
experienced
director
-
actor
Parthiban'
says
Padma
Magan.
