Big opening signs for Billa!

The advance booking for Ajith starred Billa, a remake of superstar Rajini's blockbuster in the same name, has been selling like hot cakes on the day it opened on December 10th. The booking were done for the entire week by the afternoon and the advance booking centers showed sold out signs by the evening.

Pyramid Saimira, the distributors of the film, are delighted with the big opening response for this movie. Since, the company made a heavy loss in Vijay's Azhagiya Tamil Magan, released three weeks ago, they have a lot of hope on this Ajith starrer.

Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan, saw the bookings sold out for all the 16 shows in the first four days at the big screen at Sathyam. Same is the case with Abirami Mega Mall. As of now, there are around 235 prints in Tamilnadu, Bangalore, Mumbai and 70 prints for overseas.

Nayantara and Namitha are the female leads of the film and it is all set for the worldwide release on December 14.
