After
Tamil
film
Mayakannadi's
disastrous
result,
Cheran
disappeared
for
a
while
because
he
was
scared
that
the
distributors
of
his
film
will
come
back
to
him
to
make
up
for
their
losses
over
the
film.
Hence
he
went
into
hiding
but
he
couldn't
hide
for
long.
His
distributors
are
after
him
and
if
he
doesn't
set
things
right,
they
will
use
the
Red
Card
against
him.
Realizing this, Cheran has come forward and spoken on the issue. According to the compensation package that he has offered the distributors, he will compensate their losses by directing another film and will have them distribute the film.
His next directorial venture Pokkisham might be done in consideration of the losses that his distributors might have suffered. Initially, he planned to produce the film under his own banner. But the pressure from all the quarters may force him to give away the production responsibility to some one else.
