Debutante director Selva killed by actress

Repeated sexual harassment compelled an actress to kill a debutant film director in Chennai on Wednesday. The Chennai Police arrested the actress with in few hours and have remanded her in Puzhal jail. According to the Police, the director by name Selva, worked with Vijaya T.Rajender as an Assistant Director for few films. Few months before, he had started his own film company and performed the pooja for 2 films simultaneously. He had opened an office at 100 feet Road, Vadapalani and used the same for his stay as well. Yesterday morning he was found brutally killed under suspicious circumstances.

Immediately the police rushed to the spot and found the body of Selva. Some used condoms and liquor bottles were found around the body. Police came to know that a lady named Sangeetha, had been staying with Selva for the past few months. They got her mobile number from Gandhirajan, Selva's neighbour and traced her. Within few hours they caught her at Red hills. Sangeetha told the police that she had approached Selva to get a chance in his films. But allegedly, Selva misused her as his sex partner. He used to force her to drink alcohol and have sex with others as well to earn quick money.

Sangeetha reluctantly indulged in these activities but soon got addicted to sex and liquor. On Tuesday night, her tolerance crossed the limits when after having shared her bed with 2 other customers, Selva compelled her to have sex with him. She got angry and beat him with wooden rods and Selva who was drunk died immediately. Selva was already married and survived by 4 children living near Ambattur.
