Fashion show for small screen actresses

It
was
a
colourful
evening
at
the
Lamicalle
Club
near
Ramapuram.
People
around
the
area
were
watching
their
favorite
stars
of
the
small
screen
with
curiosity
when
they
got
down
from
their
cars
at
the
lawn
of
the
club.
It was for a fashion show specially arranged for unmarried TV actresses, a first-time event in the world of satellite TV channels. Actresses familiar with the mega TV serials Neepa, Akila, Kajal, Sindhu, Abhitha (Sethu fame), Santoshi, Shilpa, Aruna, and Lavanya were among the few who attended the event.Actress Ambika, the ex-partner of Mathrubootham Dr. Sharmila and actor Babloo also participated as juries for this event. This was an event organized to showcase the inner skills of these actresses.
Finally, Santoshi was adjudged as the 'Beauty Queen of small screen' and actor Bharath, the chief guest of the event, crowned her amidst a thunderous applause. Actress Aishwarya won the runner - up and Kajal was selected for the third spot. Actress Neelima was adjudged as having the best figure, and actress Neepa won the title for having the most beautiful pair of eyes.

The function was attended by a large number of small screen actresses. Senior actresses of the small screen Divya Dharshini, Deva Dharshini, Pooja, Divya kastoori also participated and gyrated to the tunes of item numbers.
After the crowning ceremony Bharath told us, 'it is amazing to watch so many beautiful women at one stage. I really didn't expect this kind of a response for this event. All the actresses participating in this event are not less than the actresses of the silver screen. The size of the screen is the only difference. That's all...'
The event was organized by the actor Vishva (of Annamalai serial fame), who is a familiar sight at the star night events for small screen actors.
