Jayam
Ravi
and
his
brother
M.Raja
-
the
remake
kings
of
Kollywood
will
take
up
yet
another
remake.
This
time,
they
have
taken
up
Telugu
blockbuster
Bommarilu.
They
have
made
some
changes
to
meet
the
taste
of
the
Tamil
audience.
Actress
genelia
dsouza,
who
acted
in
the
original
version
is
going
to
act
in
its
remake
too.
The
brother
duo
has
chosen
genelia
dsouza
for
the
female
lead
role
though
she
is
not
doing
too
well
in
Kollywood.
Actor
Prakash
Raj
will
play
the
same
role
he
played
in
the
original
and
Devi
Sri
Prasad
will
score
the
music.
But
this
time,
they
have
teamed
up
with
a
new
producer.
The
fact
is
that
all
their
previous
hits
Jayam,
M.Kumaran
and
Unakkum
Enakkum
are
produced
by
Editor
Mohan.
But
Kalpathi
S.
Agoram,
the
producer
of
Thiruttu
Payale
will
produce
this
film
film.
Also,
it
will
be
for
the
first
time
the
brothers
do
film
together
for
an
outside
banner.
When
asking
about
this
project,
Director
Raja
said,
"Remake
is
not
an
easy
job
as
thought
by
many.
I
never
think
that
remake
is
a
demerit
for
a
director.
It
is
an
art
like
creating
a
film.
My
previous
movies
have
proved
skills
in
remake.
We
have
not
decided
the
title
for
Tamil
version
of
Bommarilu
but
we
are
planning
to
start
it
from
mid-June.
Many
have
raised
question
about
the
heroine
of
the
remake.
I
have
not
gone
wrong
with
my
selection.
Success
of
a
film
doest
not
depend
on
the
heroine
alone.
There
are
many
factors
that
decide
the
fate
of
a
film.
This
film
will
break
the
myths
of
genelia
dsouza."
