Sathyanarayana,
the
president
of
All
India
Rajinikanth
Fans
Club
has
announced
that
superstar
Rajinikanth
has
no
intentions
or
plans
to
become
the
ruling
force
in
Tamil
Nadu.
He
had
given
a
statement
yesterday
on
the
eve
of
superstar
Rajinikanth's
57th
Birthday
on
the
actor's
political
ambitions.
He
has
categorically
said
that
Rajini
has
no
intentions
to
enter
into
politics
and
the
same
would
be
as
a
big
disappointment
to
the
fans.
Most
of
the
fans
are
still
hoping
that
their
Thalaivar
would
come
to
politics
one
day
or
the
other.
A
couple
of
days
ago
thousands
of
his
fans
erected
a
120
meter
banners
in
many
parts
of
the
city
with
the
slogans
of
compelling
Rajini
to
enter
into
politics
and
become
as
the
Chief
Minister
of
the
state.
Most
of
the
fan
club
members
were
youngsters
while
they
join
the
club.
Now
they
are
in
their
forties
and
mid
fifties.
It
is
but
natural
that
they
would
feel
let
down
by
this
announcement,
given
their
dedicated
services
to
the
growth
of
the
clubs.
Acknowledging
this
in
his
statement,
he
said,
"We
do
feel
for
those,
who
have
dedicated
themselves
for
the
development
of
the
fan
clubs.
But
it
is
the
wish
of
our
superstar.
We
couldn't
impose
our
wishes
or
aspirations
on
him."
Sathyanarayana
also
advices
the
fans
not
feel
bad
comparing
the
evolution
of
Vijayakanth
or
some
other
actor's
fan
clubs
as
political
outfits.
According
to
him,
there
was
no
meaning
in
feeling
jealous
about
Vijayakanth
fan
clubs.
"Vijayakanth's
hard
work
and
relentless
efforts
are
behind
such
development…" Sathyanarayana
said.
He
has
requested
the
fans
to
understand
that
superstar
has
no
such
aspirations
in
politics
and
hence
it
will
not
be
nice
to
expect
such
an
action
from
him.
He
has
also
drawn
the
attention
of
the
fans
to
the
fact
that
political
activities
would
bring
in
lot
of
mental
pressure,
as
experienced
by
Vijayakanth
nowadays.
The
statement
is
so
clear
that
it
would
discourage
the
political
aspirations
of
the
fans.
It
would
definitely
be
a
great
disappointment
to
those,
who
still
have
been
hoping
to
fulfill
their
political
aspirations
if
superstar
decides
to
enter
into
politics
at
some
point
of
time.
Reactions
from
Politicians:
After
going
through
the
statement
of
Sathyanarayana,
many
political
leaders
and
actors
have
conveyed
their
disappointment
over
the
announcement.
Eminent
writer
and
political
critic
Cho
S
Ramaswamy
said,
"It
is
his
own
decision
and
I
don't
like
to
comment
on
it.
But
as
a
well
wisher
of
the
state,
I
should
say
that
we
have
lost
a
good
hearted
ruler
for
the
state…"
However,
he
hopes
that
the
decision
may
be
changed
in
future
as
per
the
practical
law
of
politics,
i.e.,
no
consistency
in
any
decision
of
any
politician!
Su
Thirunavukkarasar,
the
BJP
senior
leader
and
one
of
the
close
associates
of
Rajinikanth
says,
"the
decision
of
Rajini
is
unfortunate
and
he
must
change
this
in
future
after
completing
a
couple
of
movies…"
The
MDMK
general
secretary
Vaiko
says,
"There
is
nothing
to
comment
in
Rajinikath's
decision.
It
is
his
own
wish
and
let
him
to
decide
whatever
he
feels..."
Apart
from
these
reactions,
some
of
the
political
leaders
shared
their
views
off
the
record
that
there
may
be
a
compulsion
to
the
superstar
to
make
this
announcement
through
his
secretary
at
this
juncture.
