Ilayaraja to compose songs for English movie

Music maestro Ilayaraja has signed up to compose the music for an English film. The name of the film is Cuke Gun Muruga. The film will be produced by a leading Hindi production house and will have all the leading stars in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.

This is not the first time that the maestro is composing for an English film. He scored the music for the Rajini English film Blood Stone, a production from the late 80’s. He has also given the score for two other English films by NRI.

The film’s producer settled on Ilayaraja only after he heard his music score in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Cheeni Kum. According to Ilayaraja’s PRO, the film will be released by the end of September.
