Jayapradha: No comeback after Dasavatharam

Jayapradha, the yesteryear dream girl of the South, is making her comeback in Tamil in Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam. The veteran actress is playing a vital role in this film after a long gap. She was last seen with the actor in Salangai Oli. The Kamal-Jayapradha pair is the most successful romantic pair in the industry so far. No one can forget their film Ninaithale Inikkum, directed by K Balachander.

A few months back when Jayapradha visited Chennai, the veteran actor has approached her and offered her an important role in his Dasavatharam. Jayapradha accepted the offer gladly. Now she has finished shooting for the film. After getting wind of her alleged comeback, many producers approached the actress with good roles and handful of advance cheques.

But the actress politely refused all the offers. She said, "I accepted a role in Dasavatharam, only to oblige Kamalji. Being a close friend, it is my pleasure to act with him. I don't plan to make comeback in Tamil.''
