Ace Malayalam director Jayaraj commended the Tamil Cinema Industry and says, "Tamil industry has always had progressive approach. There is a great respect for new directors even from other languages." The director is busy with the final work on his maiden Tamil attempt 'Sila Nerangalil' and the sequel of his Malayalam hit 'Of The People' (the 3rd part of 'For the People') in Chennai. For the first time, he is making the movie 'Of The People' completely in a digital format.

Casting with three new faces Arun, Arjun and Padmakumar, the director completed the film in just 20 days. The sequel to the film 'By the People' was received well like the first part. Jayaraj's debut Tamil movie 'Sila Nerangalil' has Vincent Asokan, Vineeth and Navya Nair in its star cast. Jayaraj says, 'In tamil movie, every director is given their due respect. They get encouraged and their efforts are recognized. Also newcomers are given good opportunities here unlike the Malayalam film industry."

Speaking about 'Sila Nerangalil', he says, "It is a suspense-thriller drama. The story occurs in two different periods of time. Navya Nair plays a double role for the first time in her career. The highlight of the movie is a song composed by Srikanth Deva. Veteran playback singer P Suseela has sung the song and yesteryear choreographer Thara, who had worked with the legends MGR and Sivaji Ganesan, has choreographed for the song sequence." The song was shot at Bangkok and Vincent Asokan appears in the song as a Samurai warrior. The director planned to release Of the People at the end of November and Sila Nerangalil in December.
