Tamil MA changed to Katrathu Tamil

Actor Jeeva's much expected film 'Tamil M.A' has gone for a title change. The film has been re-titled Katrathu Tamil. There is no need to explain the reason why - the producer is all but willing to avail of the entertainment tax benefit offered by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the films with a Tamil title. The film's releasing date also has been rescheduled from Sep 28 to October 5.

Katrathu Tamil is a realistic story of a Tamil post- graduate who goes from pillar to post looking for a job. Director Ram has tried to show the difficulties faced by a Tamil post- graduate in getting a job even in a government college! The film has Jeeva and a new girl Anjali in the lead. Karunas, the upcoming comedy actor, was so impressed with Katrathu Tamil and purchased the Tamil Nadu rights for the film. He will release the film on his own all over the state including Chennai City
