Dasavatharam to go one step further from Shivaji

Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam will be the next Shivaji, if all is the way producer Oscar Ravichandran makes it to be. Some say that the film costs 50 crores and some say 75. But there is no word on that yet. Another mix-up is that the film was planned for a Diwali release while the producer plans for a November release due to business reasons.

Recently the producer held a special screening of the film for some journalists to get their feedback. One of these journalists said that it seems like the film will be released in the fashion that Shivaji was released. He is quoted, “I saw the rushes of Kamal’s 9 avatars with the films producer. He plays all of them excellently. This film is sure to create records in the Tamil Film Industry.”

According to sources from the unit, the film will be release worldwide with 9000 - 100 prints. It will be dubbed in three languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. 300 copies will have English subtitles.
