Can
one
ever
forget
the
gut-wrenching
scenes
at
Marina
beach
after
the
devastating
tsunami,
the
fury
of
Mother
Nature
unleashed
upon
the
hapless
humans?
Kamal
Hassan
wants
to
recreate
those
scenes
once
again
for
his
forthcoming
mega
venture
Dasavatharam.
Super
actor
Kamal
Hassan
is
featuring
in
10
different
roles
for
the
first
time
in
the
history
of
Indian
cinema
in
his
movie
Dasavatharam.
The
movie's
budget
is
skyrocketing
with
each
passing
day,
the
cost
of
its
production
is
also
nearing
that
of
the
much
hyped
superstar
Rajinikanth's
Shivaji.
The
producer
of
the
film
V.Ravichandiran
has
already
said
in
a
press
release
that
he
has
spent
Rs.30
crores
on
the
movie
so
far,
and
it
will
require
nearly
12
crores
more
to
complete
the
film.
Kamal
and
his
close
friend,
director
K.S.Ravikumar
are
keen
to
bring
out
the
film
with
an
aura
of
grandeur.
Everyday,
the
director
and
actor
wake
up
with
some
novel
idea,
and
the
same
gets
included
in
the
script
for
the
betterment
of
the
movie.
Recreating
the
tsunami
days
was
one
such
idea,
and
the
producer
immediately
gave
his
positive
nod
to
what
will
surely
be
a
costly
venture.
Director
K.S.
Ravikumar
and
his
art
director
Thottatharani
are
now
busy
with
the
creation
of
the
tsunami
set
at
Royapuram
fishing
colony.
An
artificial
beach
and
fishermen's
huts
are
being
created
by
the
artists
of
the
Thottatharani
team.
Initially
the
producer
had
decided
to
release
the
movie
on
August
15th.
Now
it
seems
the
release
date
has
been
postponed
to
the
Deepavali
day.
