Karthi acts in Aayirathil Oruvan

After the film Paruthi Veeran, Karthi is acting in MGR"s hit film Aayirathil Oruvan. Basically, Ayirathil Oruvan is an MGR's blockbuster film. Jayalalithaa paired with MGR. The film was a big hit of the time.

According to sources Selvaraghavan has chosen Karthi even before the the release of Paruthi Veeran. The film will be totally different from all other film and Selva is investing Rs 30 crore on this film. The special thing about the new film Aayirathil Oruvan is that Karthi is acting as an MGR fan in the film. He appears with MGR"s figure etched on his shoulder through out the film.

Selvaraghavan has already completed the first schedule of the film Aayirathil Oruvan. The second schedule will be shot in the Rajastan. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores music for the film. The film has been planned to be released on Tamil New Year's day
