Karthi,
the
new
darling
among
the
Tamil
filmgoers,
filed
a
complaint
at
the
Chennai
Commissioner
office
over
the
DVD
piracy
of
his
just
released
debut
film
Paruthi
Veeran.
He
told
in
his
complaint
that
the
pirated
version
of
the
film
is
being
sold
in
the
city
and
the
suburban
platforms
for
just
Rs.
25.
They
are
even
selling
the
DVDs
in
front
of
the
theaters
where
the
film
is
screened.
He
requested
the
Police
commissioner
to
take
necessary
actions
against
the
criminals
involved
in
this
issue.
The
commissioner
of
Police
Latika
Charan
immediately
handed
over
the
case
to
Joint
commissioner
of
Police
Jangit
and
gave
necessary
instructions.
The
pirated
DVD
version
of
Paruthy
Veeran
is
not
a
new
one.
These
DVDs
were
released
much
before
the
release
of
the
film.
Oneindia.in
has
already
published
a
report
about
the
sales
of
pirated
DVDs
of
Paruthi
Veeran,
3
weeks
before.
