Lakshmi Rai sleaze saga!

Lakshmi Rai, the tall and cute-looking beauty from Belgaum seemingly believes in the 'laissez faire' policy when it comes to exposing her figure. She never says 'no' to any kind of costumes including a two-piece bikini! She was introduced to the tinsel world by R.V.Udaya Kumar in the film Karka Kasadara and she followed it up with mega projects with the actors Vijayakanth and Parthiban. But she failed to strike a cord with the Tamil audience.

After these debacles, the actress decided to take an escape route to sleaze, and cooperated fully with the directors and producers in this regard. Predictably, the new path proved fruitful for her and new film offers started to pour in. Nenjai Thodu (what a meaningful title to describe the apt poses of Lakshmi Rai!) is one among such offers, which is being produced by the London-based Divine Creations and DC Entertainment. Rajkannan, a one time associate of veteran K.Bhagyaraj, is directing the film. Gemini, a debutant young man is acting as the hero of the film. Risha is the other glamour doll making the film more colourful.

When asked about this movie, Lakshmi Rai said: 'I hope this film will place me in a firm position in the industry. Compared to my earlier films, I have been given a better chance to prove my acting skills in Nenjai Thodu. Acting in glamour roles is not a sin. One should realize that that is not an easy job. A girl with a good physique must be a good actress too. I have no hesitation in doing glamorous roles. I'm acting in another movie with Jayam Ravi under Jeeva's direction. I hope that that film too will help me stabilize my career even further...'
