Mamta to act with Arjun

Mamta has finally got her chance in Tamil after her box office disaster Sivappathikaram. She will be paired opposite action king Arjun in the bilingual movie Aruvadai.

Apart from the Arjun-Mamta pair, Mammootty and Sneha are playing as the lead pair in this Pankaj Production film. The movie will be released simultaneously in Malayalam too.

After Sivappathikaram, Mamta had stayed in Chennai for a while to get chances in Tamil. But all her efforts went in vain. At one stage she couldn't even manage to pay her hotel bills! Finally the actress returned to Kerala with an unfulfilled wish. In Malayalam, she is acting in two films at present, and recently she has also entered the Telugu film world. She is acting in a couple of Telugu films, including one opposite NTR Jr.

Mamta is confident that Aruvadai will give her a chance to prove her acting skills and help her carve a niche for herself in the Tamil filmdom.
