Monica Bedi's Tamil debut

The latest buzz in Kollywood is Monica Bedi's arrival for acting in a Tamil film.

The recently released jail bird and former heroine of Bollywood has been offered a role by the director Madhesh opposite 'Captain' Vijaykanth in his recently launched film Vithagan.

It may be recalled that Monica Bedi was arrested 5 years ago in a fake passport case, but was released on bail recently. Having realized the meaning of leading an honest life after a long time, she has expressed her desire to return to films .

Director Madhesh would like to use the actress for getting wide publicity for the film. It is said that he rushed to Mumbai and convinced the actress to make her first appearance in a Tamil film. Now the actress is playing a role opposite Vijaykanth in Vithagan.

Apart from Monica, one more heroine has been booked for dancing with Vijaykanth in foreign locations for the duet numbers.
