Namee wants to play negative roles!!!

Namitha, The glamour idol of south cinema is again busy in the Kollywood. After the completion of her commitments in Maya an English movie and some Kannada assignments, now she has signed in half a dozen Tamil films. Vyapari a much awaited movie with director - actor S.J.Surya will be releasing soon. Our correspondent gives the excerpts of the informal chat with 'Namee' in a dubbing break at AVM.

You had disappeared suddenly for a short while. What happened?
Nothing happened wrongly. After Pacha Kuthira, I was little busy with some Kannada movies. Some Telugu producers also wanted me. Simultaniously I got the offer to do an English movie. It is a rare opportunity to a regional language actor. So I Immediately signed for that project. Now Maya has completed.. It means my portions. It is totally a different experience. I would like to do the dubbing also (atlast the fans get a chance to their sweethearts own voice in a English film!). Now I'm back to the pavilion.

About Vyapari..
For me, Shakthi Chidambaram is the luckiest Director. I did many of his previous films. All were commercially big hits. In Vyapari, my roll will satisfy my fans hundred percent.But there is another heroine also in the film.. Yes. Thamanna is another one. But I know how to keep a place in viewers heart!

You keep yourself as a glamour doll in all the films.Don't you think it is boring?
No.. not at all. In fiture also I would like to expose my glamour. I'm not ashamed for that. It is a great gift from god. How many actors having this chanse to expose their external beauty? "

On Acting with Vijay...
Oh.. it is a great opportunity to an actor like me. This is the golden chance for that I'm awaiting these years. I'm doing my 14th film with Vijay. It is Azhagiya Tamil Magan. Now I realized through the countless greeting calls, how much great he is! This will gives a new zeal to my career.

How about your e-business and your 'partner'?
I understood what kind of answer you are expecting from me.Actually Bharat is my business partner for that e-business. There is nothing beyond that. Why don't you go for challenging roles? Actually I want to do negative roles. That area has much scope to act than a heroine. But Tamil film Directors always show me as a glamour queen. But I hope, a will come to prove my acting skills too.

Your forthcoming projects..
There are more than 5 films in Tamil, 2 in Kannada, one each in English and Telugu.

About Marriage.
I don't understand why press people always keen on personal matters. I never hide from the media. But they created that kind of scenes. Publicity is very important to an artist like me. But personal matters are exceptional. But people thought that an artist always greedy for publicity. It is not correct. Ah. my marriage. It will take a little long. I would like to enjoy my pre-marriage life. But I assure one thing. My marriage will be a love marriage and I never do this secretely.
