It
seems
there
is
not
going
to
be
any
film
release
this
year
for
Ulaga
Nayagan
Kamal
Hassan
after
his
much
delayed
release
Vettayadu
Vilayadu
in
late
2006.
The
actor's
much-talked
film
Dasavatharam
was
expected
to
counter
Shivaji-The
Boss
on
June
15.
But
later,
it
was
said
that
the
film
will
be
a
Deepavali
release.
But
the
latest
rumour
doing
rounds
is
that
its
release
will
be
further
postponed,
and
the
movie
may
hit
the
screens
only
in
2008
for
Pongal.
Featuring
Kamal
Hassan
in
ten
different
roles,
the
movie
features
Asin,
Mallika
Sherawat
and
Nepoleon
in
key
roles.
Musical
score
is
by
Himesh
Reshamiyya,
and
direction
is
by
K.
S.
Ravi
Kumar.
Kamal
himself
has
penned
the
script
and
the
dialogues.
As
of
now,
the
crew
of
Dasavatharam
is
engaged
in
completing
the
talky
portion
of
the
film
by
the
end
of
September.
After
this,
two
songs
will
be
picturised
in
foreign
locations
and
a
lot
of
graphics
work
also
has
to
be
done
to
give
shape
to
the
film
as
per
the
actor's
wish.
It
is
an
uphill
task
for
any
director
to
complete
a
movie
within
2
months,
and
K.S.Ravikumar
and
his
men
need
more
time.
It
is
said
that
the
post
production
work
itself
is
likely
to
take
3
months
after
the
completion
of
the
shoot.
