Padmapriya's Mirugam

Padmapriya is an actress who loves to do varied roles. Last year, she won half a dozen awards in Kerala for her acting prowess.She has not done any Tamil films recently, so we got a surprise when she came to Chennai for a photo shoot. Her companion gave us a bigger surprise - Uyir director Samy.

For having created the debatable sister-in-law character, people run away from Samy. Was Padmapriya his next victim? Not at all. She has willingly accepted to act in his next film. Like Uyir, this also has a revolutionary theme. They think that it will turn Tamilnadu upside down. The title itself is suggestive. It happens to be Mirugam. The heroine is Padmapriya and the hero is a newcomer.

After giving the hero a good name, Samy promised to give us a photo.
