Padmapriya hails Mirugam!!

Padmapriya, the actress caused big trouble to director Saami has finally told that the film Mirugam is one of the best films in her career! Talking about her performance in Mirugam, Padmapriya said, "I really worked hard to give a natural colour to that character. People can understand how much efforts I have taken to do this character. Finally, the product has come out well and I got many calls from film personalities, who are appreciating my performance in the film..."

At the same time, the actress carefully avoided any comments on the director, who made this medium budget film as a big hit. In fact, Mirugam is the only hit film in the actress's career in Tamil film industry after her debut movie Thavamai Thavamirunthu.

Padmapriya's next project is Durai with action king Arjun in the lead role. "I never expect such a colourful role, that too in a commercial film like Durai. I never say no to glamour roles. You will see a total change in my look in Durai..."says Padmapriya.

She is also playing in a Hindi film titled Striker, a film on chess player with Sidhardh. The film is almost completed and expecting sometime in early 2008.
