The cold war between Ameer, the maker of Paruthi Veeran and Siva Kumar family has reached its worst stage. Now, the promos and other advts of this super hit movie have come with out the name of its maker Ameer. Paruthi Veeran was originally produced and directed By Ameer on behalf of his banner, Teamwork Entertainment. But due to the budgetary deficits, the distributors refused to release this film and asked Ameer to release it on his own. But his financial condition did not allow him to do this. He approached actor Surya, brother of Paruthi Veeran hero Karthi, to take the film on an outright basis. Initially Surya rejected Ameer's request.
But after having seen the film, his father Siva Kumar decided to release the film via his cousin K.E.Gnanavel Raja's banner, Studio Green (oneindia.in already published a detailed story about this). But Ameer alleged that there was some top political hand involved and threatened the Director to hand over the film to Studio Green at a cheaper price. Due to this, Ameer realized, he lost up to Rs.2 cr in Paruthi Veeran. After the release, the film created history at the Box Office and won high regards from the film critics.
But the bitterness between the original producer and purchaser still continues. Siva Kumar and family has now decided to release all the promos of the film with Ameers name. In the recently released trailer of the Movie, Director Ameer's name is seemingly missing, well almost. In earlier promos, Ameer's name appeared along with the title itself. But in the latest trailer, his name has been pushed out from the prime area, and it appears in the credential roll only. When we asked Ameer about this, he told that he was not ready to fight with the proxies.
'People are watching everything that happens around the film. They know whose product this is. They also know who is the person behind all the success. That is enough for me. Many of my well-wishers have brought this to my notice repeatedly. But I don't want to react. Actually I have lost interest in Paruthi Veeran and am trying to concentrate on a different project. Now my only aim is how to present Kannabiran successfully. I never bother about money. I've not joined the industry to multiply my earnings. If I thought it that way, well I have got the call sheets of top heroes who are ready to work with me after Ram. Everybody knows this. I think that Paruthi Veeran was an opportunity to know the true colours of some people...' Ameer told in a painful tone.
