Pavithran returns with Mattuthavani

Pavithran, one of the hottest directors of the 1990's, is getting back to film direction with Mattuthavani after a gap of 12 long years. Yes, the talented director is going to direct this Madurai based action flick.

He is currently busy looking for the cast. He said that most of the artistes including the lead actors would be newcomers and he has chosen his favourite music director Deva to composed the tunes. He is also planning to launch it in the first week of June.

It maybe recalled that Pavithran introduced Prabhu Deva as an item dancer in his blockbuster Sooriyan and then introduced as hero through Indhu. His last film is Kalloori Vaasal starring Ajith and Prashanth. This film also introduced Devayani into films.
