Kamal graced Pokkiri celebration

Legendary actor Kamal Hassan participated in the Slver Jubilee celebrations of actor Vijay's film Pokkiri held on Sunday. He praised Vijay for his hard working nature at the function.

The function was arranged in a grand manner at Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, on Sunday. Veteran Director K.Balachander handed over the shields and trophies to the actors and technicians of Pokkiri on this occasion. Actor Sathyaraj also attended the function and wished the actor for his success. He hinted that Vijay would turn to politics in the future.

As part of this celebration, a grand musical show by Srikanth Deva followed and actresses Namitha, Chaya Singh and Kiran moved their body to item numbers. Vijay also performed a dance number "Thaamthakka Thaiyathakka Koothu...'' along with some handicapped boys trained by choreographer Raghava Lawrence. Vijay's mother Shobha Chandrasekar released her musical album 'Madura' at this function. Tamil Film Producer Council president Rama Narayanan and many other film personalities also attended the function.
