Sinhalese beauty Pooja is firm to take up more Tamil films apart from her own language films. Along with Tamil films, the actress is simultaneously concentrating on her Sinhalese films too. A couple of months ago, her Sinhala movie Anjalika released and became a box office hit in Srilanka. Now her latest film Asai Man Piyankana (want to fly) released in the Island and is doing brisk business.
She said, "I had never seen a houseful board in front of any theatres screen Sinhalese films in my life. Only But now I am seeing such boards in most of the theatres where my film is running. It surely is a happy moment for me." Now Pooja is eagerly awaiting the release of her Tamil movie Oram Po, the shooting of which was completed much earlier. She acts opposite Arya in the film. She is confident that the movie would win her accolades.
Currently Pooja is very busy with Baala's mega venture Naan Kadavul. She said, "I have learnt a lot working with Baala sir. I'd never seen a director like him. It is a dream role and I am elated at the scope to perform in the role." Pooja is getting enough offers to act in Telugu films too. However she says, "My priority is to do more Tamil movies now."
