Prabu "" Khushboo pair again!

In the late 80's and early 90's, the Prabu and Kushboo pair was considered as a successful combination. After the stupendous hit of Chinnathambi, the pair won the hearts of Tamil viewers and the duo acted together in many films. At one stage, their reel romance crept into their real life as well.

But it was late Shivaji Ganesan, father of Prabu who finally put a full stop to that intimacy. Kushbu got married with Sundar. After her marriage, both Kushbu and Prabu have maintained a distance in films as well as in real life. A few years ago, both appeared together on stage for a star night programme at Malaysia. On that stage, they announced that their friendship was still continuing. Recently, Kushbu had attended the marriage of Prabu's son Vikram.The big news for their fans is that both will appear together again in a film titled as Vegam.

Ashvin Sekar, son of S.Ve.Sekar will be introduced as the hero of the movie. Prabu and Kushbu will play important roles in the movie. S.Ve.Sekar also has his share in the cast. Debutant director K.R.Udaya Shankar from the film institute will direct the movie, and Archana will play the lead role against him.

The film will be rolled out on the floors tomorrow. Film personalities including Kamal Hassan, K.Balachandar, Maniratnam and AVM Saravanan will be the chief guests for this event.
