Prathap Pothan to direct Madhavan!

After a long interval, Prathap Pothan appears on the scene, this time as a director.

Prathap had made his name as a good actor and director and he now appears after a long time as director of a film featuring Madhavan as hero! The heroine is Vidya Balan who paired with Madhavan in Guru also.

Vidya Balan was given a makeup test for Manasellam and then turned down that she was not suitable. She then went to Hindi films and became a leading heroine. She returns to Tamil films now in anger.

Knowing Vidya Balan's talent, Madhavan brought her back to Tamil films by recommending her name to Prathap Pothan. We have no idea if Mrs. Maddy is aware of this. Pothan has named his new film Arugil.

Could this title have been inspired by Madhavan and Vidya Balan?
